Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of My Ring Buddy, operated by DDTC OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

What the service is

My Ring Buddy is an independent, informational advisor for engagement-ring buyers. It reads listings you save, estimates market value from our pricing data, decodes certificates, and helps you learn your partner's taste through surveys and votes.

What the service is not

• Estimates are estimates. Fair-value bands, markups, and five-year costs are statistical reads from market data, clearly labelled as estimates. They are not formal appraisals, insurance valuations, or guarantees of what any ring is worth.
• Not professional advice. Nothing in the service is financial, legal, or gemological advice. The purchase decision, and the negotiation, are yours.
• Not a marketplace. We do not sell rings, take commissions, or accept payment from sellers. If you buy a ring, that transaction is entirely between you and the seller.

Your account and acceptable use

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in secure.
• Only submit listing links and images you are entitled to share. When you paste a link, we fetch that public page on your behalf to read the listing.
• No scraping, reselling, or abusing the service (including automated bulk extraction); we apply fair-use limits.
• Survey and vote links you share are your responsibility; share them with people you trust.

The unlock

The core features are free. The full report, fair-price read, and side-by-side comparison are unlocked by a one-time payment of $29.99 per decision (one proposal journey). It is not a subscription and does not renew. Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.

Your content and data

You keep all rights to the content you add. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and display it back to you and to the people you explicitly share links with. Privacy is covered by our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account at any time; that erases your decision data.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for purchase decisions made using our estimates, for the accuracy of third-party listings, or for the conduct of sellers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as an EU consumer.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be dated here, and continued use means acceptance. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. Questions: contact@cashango.com.
